  1. What’s your creative process like? We’re fond of Ursula K. Le Guin’s daily writing routine. Susan Sontag told Paris Review:
I write in spurts. I write when I have to because the pressure builds up and I feel enough confidence that something has matured in my head and I can write it down. But once something is really under way, I don’t want to do anything else. I don’t go out, much of the time I forget to eat, I sleep very little. It’s a very undisciplined way of working and makes me not very prolific. But I’m too interested in many other things.
    What works best for you?
  2. Do you have a space dedicated to creative work? What does it look like? If you don’t, what would an ideal workspace look like to you?
Feel free to share pictures of your workspace (with captions!), if you want.
  3. Tell us about your path to writing or creating artwork.
  4. What keeps you motivated to create? Do you have any big dreams or goals for your work?
  5. How do you push through creative blocks?
  6. Who are you hoping to reach with your work? Do you have a target audience? Who would you like to inspire?
  7. What tips would you give someone taking their first steps in creative work? What did you need to hear when you were getting started?
  8. Are any movies, music, books, or poetry collections (or any media at all, really) particularly inspiring to you?
  9. If your work had a soundtrack, what songs would be on it? Why?
  10. Give us some background on the piece(s) you contributed to this issue.

** Bonus non-question: If there’s anything else you’d like to share about yourself and your work, feel free to send us a paragraph or two.
